DENVER - The University of Denver women's golf team were named the unanimous favorite in the 2025 Summit League Women's Golf Preseason Poll and will tee off the spring season as the favorite to retain the League title, the Summit League announced on Thursday.

Clara Gestsdottir was named to the 2025 Summit League Preseason Golfers to Watch list. Gestsdottir won the 2024 Summit League Individual title and is a two-time all-Summit League first team selection and owned the second-lowest scoring average, 72.6, last season.
DU will open the 2025 season on February 3-4 in Boca Raton, Florida at the FAU Paradise Invitational. The Pioneers will defend the Summit League title on April 20-22 in Phoenix, Arizona.
