DENVER – University of Denver women's tennis players
Marley Lambert and
Louise Wikander have been designated as the singles and doubles participants from the Summit League at the upcoming 2025 ITA Conference Masters Championships, the League announced on Thursday.

Following a nomination and voting process from the League's head coaches, Lambert was selected as the Summit League's singles representative while the doubles duo of Lambert/Wikander were selected as the League's doubles representative.

The 2025 ITA Conference Masters Championships will be held in San Diego, California, on November 6-9.

On the line are automatic berths to the 2025 NCAA Division I Tennis Singles & Doubles Championships with the four singles semifinalists and the top three doubles teams (champion, finalist and third-place finisher) all earning spots in the NCAA field.

Wikander has already secured a singles berth to the NCAA Championships after winning the 2025 ITA Mountain Regional Championships singles title earlier in October.

The ITA Conference Masters Championships is in its second year as part of a two-year pilot program that moved the NCAA Division I Tennis Singles and Doubles Championships to the fall. Each conference that receives an automatic qualification spot to the NCAA Championships in the spring – including the Summit League – designates one singles player and one doubles team to play in the ITA Conference Masters event.

This will be Lambert's second time playing in the ITA Conference Masters Championship after joining
Andrea Burguete Beltran in doubles in 2024. The duo advanced to the quarterfinals before falling to the No. 1 seed. This will be Wikander's first appearance at the ITA Conference Masters.

Lambert and Wikander's DU teammates will also be in action the same weekend at the HEB Invite, hosted by Baylor, on November 7-9. The tournament at Baylor will be the team's final tournament of the 2025 fall season before the 2025 NCAA Division I Tennis Singles & Doubles Championships on November 18-23 officially ends the fall competition slate.
