This is the second year that the Big 12 will include a traditional conference schedule that sees the seven gymnastics programs face off against each other in pursuit of the regular-season championship. Teams alternate years competing at home against each fellow Big 12 program.
This season's home Big 12 meets will feature Utah – which will compete in Denver for the first time in the teams' 25
th all-time meeting – as well as Arizona and Iowa State. In Big 12 competition, DU will make the trip to Arizona State, BYU and West Virginia in 2026.
Denver's non-conference slate includes two more top-ranked opponents that will book end the regular season. DU will open the year against reigning ACC champion Stanford at home on January 11 before heading to Oregon State for the regular-season finale on March 14.
Also during non-conference competition, Denver will make its first visit to Texas Woman's since 2008 while hosting a home-and-away weekend series against fellow Colorado team Air Force. DU will make the trip down I-25 on Friday, March 6, before the Falcons come up to Denver for a rare Monday night meet in Magness Arena on March 9.
The 2026 Big 12 Conference Gymnastics Championship will again be hosted on podium at the Maverik Center in West Valley City, Utah, on March 21. Additional details will be announced later this fall.
NCAA Regionals are schedule to be held on April 1-5 at four campus sites, hosted by Arizona State, Kentucky, LSU and Oregon State.
Of DU's 10 scheduled opponents for 2026, four joined Denver in the nation's top 25 final rankings a season ago. Seven qualified for NCAA Regionals – including NCAA finalist Utah.
In preparation for the regular season, Denver will host its annual Crimson & Gold Intrasquad on Sunday, December 21, at 2 p.m. MT in Magness Arena. Admission is free.
Denver will be led in part by seniors
