Kelly Signs Nine for 2027

DENVER – The University of Denver women's lacrosse program has signed nine athletes to join the Pioneers beginning in the 2026-27 season, head coach Liza Kelly announced on Wednesday.

"This class boasts a diverse range of talent and distinctive style," Coach Kelly said. "They hail from various regions across the country, having played for numerous high school and club teams. We are thrilled to witness their journey as Pioneers, both on the field and in the classroom."

Chloe Lambert – Alexandria, Virginia – St. Stephen's & St. Agnes – Midfield
BEFORE DENVER:
Ranked a 4-star lacrosse athlete by ILWomen … USA Player of the Week … 2025 Alexandria Sportsman's Club Athlete of the Year … 2× All-League, 2× 1st Team All-State, 2× All-Met, and 2× All-American … Became her team's all-time leading goal scorer with 65 goals in the 2024 season
PERSONAL:
Enjoys playing soccer, tennis and running …active in her community with over 40 community service and involvement in One Love and Morgan's Message … chose Denver because of the academic reputation and inclusive community in addition to the opportunity to grow both personally and academically.
 
Reed Pinkin – Baltimore, Maryland – McDonogh School – Attack
BEFORE DENVER:
Led her team to an IAAM Championship and appeared in every game throughout her career … top-three goal scorer at McDonogh School.
PERSONAL:
Enjoys baking and skiing …active member of One Love … chose Denver because of the welcoming atmosphere and coaches.
 
Kyleigh Rabazzi – Burlington, Massachusetts – The Rivers School – Midfield
BEFORE DENVER:
Dual sport athlete in hockey and lacrosse …5x Massachusetts hockey state champion (2x U10, 2x U12, U14) … 3x quarterfinalist in the ISL playoffs … All-NEPSAC and All-ISL honorable mention her sophomore and junior years
PERSONAL:
Played club for Mass Elite … enjoys playing hockey in her free time … Chose Denver because of the size and location as well as the welcoming community.
 
Molly Hazard – Wellesly Hills, Massachusetts – The Rivers School – Midfield/Defense
BEFORE DENVER:
Named an All-NEPSAC and All-ISL honorable mention … Named to team New England for All America Lacrosse … led the team in ground balls and caused turnovers.
PERSONAL:
Played club for Mass Elite … enjoys soccer, sailing and tennis … active in her community through National Charity League, Red Key and Party with a Purpose … chose Denver because of the strong balance between academics and athletics, the location and facilities within the University and commitment to student success.
 
Courtney Whittaker – Houston, Texas – The Kinkaid School – Midfield
BEFORE DENVER:
Leads her team in goals, draws, caused turnovers and ground balls … 2x All-American … member of the USA U19 Youth National Team … 3x All-Southwest Preparatory Conference, 3x All-District and 2x All-State selection.
PERSONAL:
Played club for South Coast Lacrosse … enjoys field hockey, soccer, ceramics and is an active member of YoungLife … chose Denver because of the location and the family-like atmosphere of the team and the balance between high academic and high athletic performance.
