DENVER – The University of Denver gymnastics team's meet on Sunday, February 1, against Iowa State will be broadcast live on ESPN2, the Big 12 Conference and ESPN announced on Monday.
With the ESPN2 pick up, the meet will begin at 3 p.m. MT. Fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 2:45 p.m. MT for team introductions.
Season tickets for the 2026 Denver Gymnastics season are now on sale, which will include admission to the February 1 meet. Tickets can be purchased online at
denverpioneers.com/tickets or by calling the Ritchie Center box office at 303-871-4625. Single meet tickets go on sale on Tuesday, November 18, at 10 a.m. MT.
This marks the second consecutive season that a regular-season Denver Gymnastics home meet will be televised live on an ESPN linear network. ESPN2 opened up DU's season a year ago with what was the first time a Denver regular-season home meet had been broadcast live on a linear national TV network.
Denver will also have a second chance to appear on the linear ESPN networks during the 2026 season at the 2026 Big 12 Gymnastics Championship. Session II of the two-session meet will air live on ESPNU at 5 p.m. MT while the first session will air on ESPN+ at 12 p.m. MT.
This will be the seventh year in a row that the Big 12 Championship will be broadcast live on an ESPN linear network. DU welcomed the ESPN networks to Magness Arena for the first time in its history when it hosted the 2022 Big 12 Gymnastics Championship.
DU has been featured on a linear ESPN broadcast three times previously during the regular season, each coming since the 2020 season. Including appearances during the Big 12 Championship and NCAA National Championships, Denver has made 11 total appearances as a team on ESPN linear networks since 2019.
A season ago, Denver finished with a No. 13 national ranking after upsetting No. 10 Minnesota and No. 13 Stanford at the NCAA Regional Championships and was just three tenths away from booking a trip to the NCAA National Championships, finishing just out of range of eventual NCAA finalists Utah and UCLA in the NCAA Regional Final.
Denver has continued to set attendance records over the last decade including new program records for average attendance (4,781) and total attendance (28,684) a season ago. Twice, Denver has sold out Magness Arena since 2023, and DU welcomed its fourth crowd of more than 6,000 fans last season as well.
