In total, Denver's schedule features duals against at least three teams that held ITA national rankings to finish the 2025 season: No. 37 Tulsa, No. 57 Memphis and No. 63 BYU. DU will also make a trip to No. 31 Arizona's Red/Blue Challenge in February.
Denver will open the year at the annual Long Beach State Winter Invite, which will feature daily singles and doubles match ups between participating schools, before DU plays its first five true duals – all at home. The home opener will feature Seattle, a future West Coast Conference opponent for DU, on January 23. During the home stand, Denver will also host three fellow in-state NCAA Division I teams in Air Force, Colorado and Colorado State.
DU's next five matches are all on the road with trips to the states of Utah, Arizona and Minnesota, and featuring Denver's Summit League opener at St. Thomas on February 28.
The Pioneers will return home for two matches spread over two weekends, hosting a Summit League match against South Dakota and then Davidson a week later.
DU will play twice in Memphis, Tennessee, to close out March, first playing at host Memphis before taking on Xavier in a neutral-site match. The following week, Denver travels to Tulsa for its non-conference finale before resuming Summit League play at Kansas City.
Denver's final two home matches of the year will see the Pioneers play against Summit League opponents Oral Roberts and North Dakota on consecutive days. DU will then play its final regular-season match at Omaha on April 18.
In what is DU's final season as a member of the Summit League, Denver will seek a spot in the 2025 Summit League Women's Tennis Championship, which will be held in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on April 24-25. DU has won the tournament in each season that the tournament has been held since Denver joined the Summit League in 2013-14.
The University of Denver women's tennis team completed its 2025 fall season at the NCAA Division I Singles Tennis Championship in Orlando, Florida, where senior
Louise Wikander fell in the round of 64. Wikander won the 2025 ITA Mountain Regional singles title.
Wikander is one of five seniors to lead DU heading into the dual season. Joining her are returners
Hana Bečirovič Novak,
Marley Lambert and
Claudia Martinez de Velasco, and Omaha transfer
Zoe Adkins.
