SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – University of Denver women's swimming freshman
Julia Saxman has been named the Kwik Star Summit League Women's Swimming Peak Performer of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday.
Saxman led the Pioneer women in dual meets at Washington State and in a win at Idaho. The Wisconsin native's 200 fly time on Saturday was the sixth fastest time in program history, one of four event wins for the freshman over the weekend. Saxman's times in both the 100 fly and 200 fly were each the fastest in the Summit League this season. Tuesday's weekly honor was the first of her career.
