DENVER – The [RV/-] University of Denver men's soccer program earned a 1-1 draw to share the points on Wednesday and claim the tournament's top seed with the Summit League regular season title.

Notes:
- Denver won the Summit League regular season title, its 11th in 13 years in the league.
- The trophy is Denver's third-straight regular season title, and its fifth in the last six years.
- Denver finishes the 2025 campaign 64-9-10 in its 13 seasons in the Summit League, including 55-7-9 under Jack and Sheila Weinberg Head Men's Soccer Coach Jamie Franks.
- Sophomore forward Keegan Kelly scored his first goal of the season to level the score at 1-1 in the final five minutes of regulation. The goal was the fifth of Kelly's career.
- Kelly's equalizer was Denver's first in the final five minutes of a match since September 18, 2023 when Oje Ofunrein scored in the 89th minute in a 2-2 draw at Seattle.
- Isaac Nehme and Trevor Wright both made their 81st career starts on Wednesday, sitting in a tie for second, two off the record set by Scott DeVoss (2015-18).
- Dylan Akau moved into a tie for second in program history with 83 career appearances, moving himself four off Aidan O'Toole's (2019-23) record and tied for second with Sam Hamilton (2013-16), DeVoss, Andre Shinyashiki (2015-18) and Stefan DeLeone (2018-22).
First Half:
10' The home side opened the scoring on the first shot of the afternoon when a half-clearance bounced to the volley of Yanis Lakhlifi, who picked out the top corner to give St. Thomas the 1-0 advantage.
27' Denver took its first two attempts of the afternoon, having them both blocked in-front, but earning its first corner of the day.
Second Half:
58' The first shot of the second half came off the boot of Oliver Corris for the Tommies, but his attempt from outside the area was well over Isaac Nehme's goal.
65' Denver's first quality look of the match came after the hour mark when Kyle McGowan played a long ball over the top to the run of Keegan Kelly, getting him 1-on-1 with the keeper, but the sophomore slid his shot wide of the near post and out for a goal kick.
74' Kai Carlson had a look at a leveler from a low angle, but he fired his shot wide of the near post.
86' Kelly finally got his goal to level the match at 1-1. Bryce Willoughby got in behind and got a shot on target. The rebound fell right to the feet of Kelly who made no mistake with the leveler.
89' Denver had two corners to look for the go-ahead goal late, but
Tyler Schommer took the only shot in the sequence, and his shot rose over the bar.

Denver will host its Summit League Semifinal on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. MT at the University of Denver Soccer Stadium. The tournament bracket will be finalized following Oral Roberts and Omaha's match at 5 p.m. CT on Wednesday. The entire conference tournament will be streamed on the Summit League Network.
