HILTON HEAD, S.C. - Th University of Denver men's golf team finished fourth at 16-over at the Wexford Intercollegiate. The fourth place finish is tied for the best team finish under second-year head coach
Gary Bissell.
Xavier earned the team title at 1-under, followed by USC Aiken at 7-over and East Carolina at 15-over to round out the top three. Ray Filter, Xavier, earned the individual title at 5-under.Â
Willis Panzarello led the charge for the Pioneers, earning a runner-up finish at 3-under. Panzarello shot a career-low 36-hole score of 213, including a 69 in both the first and third rounds.
