DENVER – The University of Denver men's soccer program has added Andrew Mann and Anthony Masino to its 2025 roster, Jack and Sheila Weinberg Head Men's Soccer Coach Jamie Franks announced on Monday.

The new Pioneer duo has joined the program in the winter quarter ahead of their official collegiate debuts this fall.

Anthony Masino – 5-9 – 145 – Oak Forest, Illinois – Oak Forest H.S. – Freshman – Sockers FC
Before Denver:

Joined the program in January, 2025…Finished with 17 goals and 19 assists in his final season with Sockers FC. Member of the National Honor Society…AP Scholar with Distinction.

Personal:
Chose the University of Denver because of the atmosphere of the campus and has heard nothing but good things about the academic side of campus. Excited to play for a top-5 Division I program…Hopes to play professionally after graduation.

Franks on Anthony Masino
"Anthony is an attacking player with pace and the ability to take players on in the attacking half. We are excited to have Anthony join and develop in our environment. Anthony is a soccer junkie and is constantly working to be better each day and we have no doubt that he will come in and bring his best every day."

Andrew Mann – 6-0 – 165 – Westminster, Colorado – Holy Family H.S. – Freshman – Real Colorado
Before Denver:

Selected to the All-Star team for the National Academy Championship in 2023…Placed second in the MLS Next National Championship in 2023…Selected to the Principal's Honor Roll.

Personal:
Chose the University of Denver for the unique opportunity to chase both his athletic and academic goals. The culture that the staff has created within the program was a big reason why he selected DU because he knows he will grow not just as a player but as a person…Wants to lead Denver to a National Championship before starting a professional career…Enjoys cooking, reading, traveling, skiing, white water canoeing and spending times with friends and family.

Franks on Andrew Mann
"Andrew has shown an outstanding amount of dedication and commitment towards his development as a player during his time at Real Colorado. We've followed Andrew for a long time at the youth level. He's a midfielder with a strong knowledge of the game and I'm excited for what the future has in store for him at the University of Denver. We are impressed with his passion and approach he brings each and every day."
