DENVER – The University of Denver men's soccer team is set for host [RV/24] Delaware on Saturday at 3 p.m. MT at the University of Denver Soccer Stadium. The match will be streamed on the Summit League Network as Denver looks to knock off the lone unbeaten remaining in Summit League play, and one of just 13 unbeaten teams remaining in the country.
DENVER VS. DELAWARE SERIES HISTORY:
Saturday marks the first meeting between the two newly acquainted conference foes.

Denver conceded an early penalty, but got an immediate response from Trevor Wright, and then Luke Schultz netted a 90th minute free kick to send Denver to its first win over a ranked opponent this season by a count of 2-1 over No. 14 Georgetown in the nation's capital on Tuesday. FULL RECAP

- Denver is 130-45-33 since the start of the 2015 season.
- That record is good for sixth in the country in wins during that span, behind Wake Forest (157), Indiana (148), Clemson (147), Georgetown (139), Stanford (136).

- The Pioneers are 11-8-4 against teams receiving votes, including 6-5-2 at home, 4-3-2 on the road and 1-0-0 at a neutral site.
- Denver is 4-13-0 against teams ranked in the top-5 in the United Soccer Coaches Poll, including 2-8 in true road games.
- The Pioneers only road win against a top-5 team prior to last season's 1-0 win at No. 5 Stanford came on December 2, 2016 when the fourth-ranked Pioneers beat No. 3 Clemson 1-0 in the NCAA Quarterfinals.

- Denver broke the stadium attendance record twice last postseason, playing in-front of 1,875 in its 2024 NCAA Round of 16 game vs. [14] Indiana, before hosting a standing-room only crowd of 2,361 in the Pios 3-0 NCAA Quarterfinal win over UMass.
- Denver is 7-2-0 at home in NCAA Tournament games.
LEAVING IT LATE AT NO. 14 GEORGETOWN
- Luke Schultz scored on a free kick at 89:44 to complete Denver's comeback at No. 14 Georgetown, sending the Pios past the Hoyas 2-1 in the nation's capital on October 7.
- With 16 seconds on the clock, the Schultz game-winner is tied for the fourth-latest goal in regulation in program history, and is the latest game-winner in Denver's DI era.
- The win was Denver's first against a top-25 opponent this season.
- It was also the first win after conceding the first goal since September 14, 2024 against Yale (Denver won 4-1).
- The goal was the first game-winner in the final five minutes since Ian Smith scored an 86th-minute winner at Grand Canyon in August, 2022.
TAKING ADVANTAGE OF SET PIECES
- The Pioneers outscored their opponents 3-0 off set pieces in the 2024 NCAA Tournament en-route to the College Cup
- Last season, Denver held a 12-8 edge in goals off set pieces.
- This season, DU's opponents have outscored them 9-6 off set pieces.
- Both of Denver's goals in its 2-1 win at No. 14 Georgetown on October 7 came off set-pieces, including a 90th-minute winner from Luke Schultz off a 22-yard free kick.
- Will King's 5th minute goal vs. San Diego off a corner was Denver's fastest goal to start a match since Oje Ofunrein scored 3:08 in to the 2023 Summit League Semifinal against Kansas City.

- Career Shutouts: Isaac Nehme broke the career shutouts record in the Pios 2024 NCAA Second Round win with his 27th, and now has 30.
- Career Goalkeeper Wins: Isaac Nehme broke the career goalkeeper wins record on August 31 vs. SIUE (2-1), capturing his 43rd victory to pass Nick Gardner (2014-18). Nehme now has 47.
- Career Saves: Isaac Nehme has 166 career saves to sit fourth in Denver's DI history in career saves. Nehme is 28 saves behind Parker Jarvis (1999-01) for third on the list.
- Career Matches Started: Isaac Nehme and Trevor Wright enter Saturday having made 75 career starts. With a start Saturday, the Pioneer duo will sit in a tie for third in program history with Nat Borchers and Destan Norman.
- Career Matches Played: With his next appearance, Dylan Akau will tie Chandler Crosswait (2012-16) and Karsten Hanlin (2013-16) for 10th in program history at 78. Wright and Nehme's next appearance will tie them with Nat Borchers for 15th at 77 apps.
DENVER IN THE SUMMIT LEAGUE REGULAR SEASON
- In Summit League regular season play since the Pioneers joined the league in 2013, Denver is 61-9-9.
- Since Jamie Franks took over in 2015, Denver is 52-7-8.
- Denver has won 10 of a possible 12 regular season titles since joining the league.
- The Pioneers have won 12 conference regular season titles and eight conference tournament titles in their Division I history (1999).
- Since joining the Summit League in 2013, the Pioneers have won 10 regular season titles and eight Summit League Tournament titles.
