DENVER - The University of Denver women's basketball team will host the University of St. Thomas on Saturday in Hamilton Gymnasium. Tip is set for 11 a.m. MT.
SERIES HISTORY:
The Pioneers are 4-3 against the Tommies all time and 2-1 in Hamilton. DU dropped the most recent matchup, 65-78, on January 25 in Minnesota.Â

Doshia Woods, the Pioneers have played the analytics game, finishing top-30 nationally in both three-pointers attempted and triples made per game.
• In 2023-24, Denver finished 10th in threes attempted (821/27.4), 29th in threes made per game (8.2) and 207th in three-point field goal percentage (30.1).
• The Pioneers made double-digit triples on nine different occasions during the 2023-24 campaign, including a season-high 16 vs. Stetson (12/9) and Oral Roberts (2/3).

CASHING IN FROM THE STRIPE
• The Pioneers are shooting 78.2% from the free throw line this season.
• Denver ranks first the Summit League and is ranked 16th nationally from the stripe.
• The Pios' 14.48 made free throws per game are good for 33rd in the country and second in the Summit League.

Jordan Jones leads the conference in both total free throws (150) and attempts (189) and ranks third nationally in total free throws and attempts.
NATIONAL NOISE

Jordan Jones is ranked in the top-25 statistically in five different categories.
• The preseason first-team selection is 12th in total points (468) and 17th in points per game (20.3)
• The junior guard is 17th nationally in field goal attempts with 355.
• Jones ranks second nationally in total free throws (150) and attempts (189).
