Sebastian Akins led the Pios with eight, and seven different Pioneers had at least five points in the first half.
Following intermission, Denver kept widening that lead, expanding it to 57-47 before going on a 7-0 run, finished off by Addo-Ankrah's three, to grow the lead to 64-47 with 11:24 to go in the contest.
