DENVER – The University of Denver men's tennis team starts its 2025 Summit League schedule with two road matches at Illinois State and at Oral Roberts on March 28-30.
DU begins the weekend at Illinois State on Friday, March 28, at 9:30 a.m. CT/8:30 a.m. MT before making the trip to Oral Roberts on Sunday, March 30, at 9 a.m. CT/8 a.m. MT.
LAST TIME OUT:
Denver is coming off its second bye in the last three weeks. In between the two bye weekends, DU earned a 6-1 win over Idaho State at home on Friday, March 14. After securing late breaks in the top two doubles matches, DU claimed a 1-0 lead to start the match before going up 3-0 with straight-sets wins at Nos. 1 and 6 singles. ISU got on the board with a win in three sets at No. 2, but freshman
Samuel Rovai clinched the dual for Denver at No. 4 singles, coming back from a set down to win it in three. DU would go on to win the final two singles matches as well.

Connor Robb-Wilcox were together named the Summit League Doubles Peak Team of the Week the following Tuesday, their first weekly Summit League awards of their careers.
SERIES HISTORY:
Illinois State: Denver and Illinois State have played 10 times previously with DU going 8-2 with all eight wins coming in the last eight meetings. DU closed its 2024 regular season with a 7-0 sweep of the Redbirds at home to win its fifth straight Summit League regular season title. Denver's last trip to ISU was April 9, 2023, and a 6-1 win for the Pioneers.
Oral Roberts: DU is 14-0 against ORU including 7-0 sweeps in each of the last three matches – two at home including their most recent meeting on April 12. Denver made the trip to Tulsa, Oklahoma, last on April 7, 2023, in the second of those three 7-0 wins for DU.
