Jordan Jones Named to the DI-AAA Scholar-Athlete Team

DENVER - Junior guard Jordan Jones was one of eleven student-athletes named to the 2025 DI-AAA Women's Scholar Athlete Team, the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics announced on Wednesday.

Jones was an All-Summit League Second Team honoree and broke the Pioneers' single-season scoring record with 597 points during the 2024-25 campaign. The Wyoming native led the conference and was top-10 nationally in free throw attempts and total free throws. The junior maintained a 3.40 GPA in Psychology at the conclusion of the 2024-25 season.

Each of the nominees is required to maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.20 (4.00 scale) in undergraduate study and have been a starter or important reserve with legitimate athletics credentials and have competed in at least 50% of the team's contests.. To be eligible for nomination to the Scholar-Athlete Team, individuals must have reached junior academic standing at their respective institution (ineligible athletics transfers are not eligible).
