DENVER – The University of Denver women's basketball program has signed junior shooting guard Lex Pletschette, who played her first two seasons at Chabot College, head coach
Doshia Woods announced on Tuesday.
"We are excited to welcome Lexi to our Pioneer family,"
Woods said. "A combo guard who can score in multiple ways, her ability to shoot allows her to be effective. She had tremulous success at Chabot, and we couldn't be more thrilled that she's joining our program."
Pletschette started in all 59 games over two seasons with Chabot. In her sophomore season with the Gladiators, she averaged 16.7 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.6 assists per contest.
She finished in double digits on 24 occasions, including ten 20+ point games and a 31-point night in a 20-point win against Napa Valley.
