DENVER – University of Denver men's lacrosse alum
Mic Kelly has been called into the U.S. Men's Sixes National Team Camp by head coach
Andy Shay, for this weekend's event at the USA Lacrosse headquarters, USA Lacrosse announced on Wednesday.
Kelly will join fellow alum
Jack Hannah on the 12-player roster for this weekend.
Kelly played in 60 career games for the Pioneers, starting 30 in Denver's first midfield line. The Towson, Maryland, native finished his career with 94 points on 64 goals and 30 helpers. This season, Kelly was drafted 12
th overall by the Boston Cannons, making the 25-man PLL opening day roster, and later scoring in his PLL debut on May 31.
This will be the first training opportunity for the U.S. men's sixes program since last fall's USA Lacrosse Experience in Indianapolis where Shay led the U.S. team to victories over Colombia, Great Britain and Puerto Rico.
