DENVER – The University of Denver women's tennis team begins its winter/spring season with one final hidden dual-style tournament in the Long Beach State Winter Invitational on Friday-Sunday.
This weekend's matches are DU's final before opening up dual match play next week.
Denver will join host Long Beach State, Cal State Fullerton and Cal State Northridge at this weekend's tournament. Each day will feature a round of doubles and a round of singles with each team taking on each other throughout the three days in a hidden dual format.

FALL SEASON RECAP:
DU's 2025-26 season began with appearances by at least Pioneer at six different tournaments, highlighted by senior
Louise Wikander qualifying for the NCAA Division I Singles Championships in November after winning the ITA Mountain Regional singles title. Wikander and fellow senior
Marley Lambert also made a run in doubles at the 2025 ITA Conference Masters Championships.
All 10 Denver players saw action throughout the fall with the team hosting its annual Colorado Cup in October while also traveling to the Bedford Cup in the Mountains at Air Force and the H-E-B Invitational hosted by Baylor.
