PALM DESERT, Calif. -- The University of Denver finished the first round of the Alice and John Wallace Women's Golf Classic at 24-over and in 15th place. 

Southern California leads the team race at 15-under, followed by Long Beach State at 6-over and Boise State at 7-over. 

Jasmine Koo (Southern California) sits atop the individual leaderboard at 7-under, followed by Alexis Vakasiulo (Grand Canyon) and Kylie Chong (Southern California) are tied for second at 4-under.
