GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- The University of Denver is tied for third at 7-under after the opening round of the Loyola Intercollegiate. 

Loyola and Richmond are tied for first at 8-under followed by South Dakota and Denver tied for third at 7-under. 

Paxton Maxwell (Utah Valley) leads the individual race at 7-under, followed by Campbell Kerr (Grand Canyon) at 6-under and Jet Hernandez and Rylan Shim (NC State) tied for third at 5-under.
