Soevik said. "The games have always been a dream for me, and it is an honor to represent Brazil. I want to thank the [Olympic Committee of Brazil] for this opportunity, and thank you to my family and everyone who believes in me. Let's give it our all."
Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (Dec. 27, 2001), Soevik spent his early years in Montes Clarios in the state of Minas Gerais. He moved to Norway with his family in 2006 when he was 4 years old.

The 2026 campaign began last month, and Soevik has already registered five top-10 finishes through the first eight alpine events. He recorded three of those results this past week at Mount Rose-Ski Tahoe, Nevada, which included placing fourth in men's slalom at the RMISA Alpine Qualifier on Saturday.
Soevik has made 39 career starts on the FIS Europa Cup and has posted five top-20 performances on the circuit. This past fall on Nov. 21 and 23, he came in 20th in slalom in Levi, Finland, and 21st in the same discipline in Storklinten, Sweden. Additionally, Soevik owns eight top-10 finishes and four top-fives in FIS Nor-Am Cup events as a member of the Pioneers since 2023-24.
At the 2022 FIS Alpine Junior World Ski Championships, he placed sixth in alpine combined and 10th in giant slalom while competing for Norway. Soevike previously skied club for the Kjelsaas IL before enrolling at Denver.
He is earning his bachelor's degree in business analytics at DU and has twice been named to the National Collegiate All-Academic Ski Team (2024, 2025).
