AIKEN, S.C. -- The University of Denver women's golf team is in third place at 7-over after the opening round of the More Than Golf Invitational at Old Barnwell Golf Course in Aiken, South Carolina.

Columbia leads the team race at 1-under, followed by Tulsa at 2-over and Denver rounding out the top three at 7-over. Kristina Xu (Columbia) leads the individuals at 4-under with Yu Zeng (Columbia) in second and Allyn Stephens (Tulsa) and Holly Hamilton tied for third at 1-under.
