DENVER – The University of Denver women's tennis team (10-6, 2-0 Summit) is ranked No. 61 the ITA Computerized Rankings that were released on Tuesday.
Denver is coming off split results in Memphis last week, earning a 4-2 win at host Memphis before dropping a 4-2 neutral-site match to Xavier.
So far in 2026, Denver has faced six teams that currently appear in the ITA team rankings, highlighted by wins over now-No. 35 Arizona and now-No. 65 Colorado. Four of DU's six losses this season have come against ranked teams: No. 14 Arizona State, No. 30 Utah, No. 32 BYU and No. 60 Oregon.
This is the sixth time Denver has appeared in the ITA team rankings this season and its fourth in as many weeks.
The ITA Division I Women's Collegiate Tennis Rankings recognize the top 75 teams (out of 313), as well as the top 125 singles players and top 60 doubles teams at the NCAA Division I level. Beginning this week, rankings for teams, singles player and doubles teams will be released on a weekly basis until the start of the NCAA tournament in May.
The University of Denver women's tennis team remains on the road for two more matches, ending its non-conference schedule at Tulsa on Friday, April 3, before resuming Summit League play at Kansas City on Saturday, April 4.
