VAULT RECAP
Denver anchored its first rotation with back-to-back stuck vaults to drop a lower score from earlier in the lineup. Senior
Mila Brusch had the first stick, doing so on her Yurchenko full to tie her career high of 9.900 for a second straight meet in Magness Arena. Bhatia followed it up with her own stick, hers on a Yurchenko one-and-a-half for a near-perfect 9.975, giving her a stuck vault in her first and last home meets of her freshman season.
Leading up to the final two vaults were sturdy hits from junior
Maddison Reidenbach and sophomore
Addie Hewitt with a 9.850 and 9.825, respectively, immediately following an underrotated vault in the No. 2 spot. Hargraves led off the lineup with what would be the final counted score of a 9.725.
BARS RECAP
Four scores at or above 9.800 settled DU in for its best bars rotation of the season so far, highlighted by a season-high 9.950 from senior
Kiley Rorich that was just a quarter tenth from her career best and became Denver's single-highest bars score of 2026. Her fellow seniors also made it into the 9.9+ range with Brusch setting a new career high of 9.900 and
Cecilia Cooley equaling hers with a 9.925.
Reidenbach posted a 9.800 to match her personal best for a second consecutive meet and for the third time in her last four routines. Bhatia had the team's final counted score with a 9.775 that was just off Reidenbach's pace. Freshman
Kaitlynd Kastl led off the lineup with a 9.725.
BEAM RECAP
For the fifth meet in a row, Denver overcame a fall on beam to drop the scores and continue its streak of not having counted a fall in any meet this season. Freshman
Megan Aamold served as the lead off for the second straight meet and improved on her first appearance with a 9.800 on Monday. Fellow freshman
Terra Rutter fought through her routine in the No. 2 spot in what proved to be a counted score. Junior
Ashley Gallen settled things with a steady 9.800 of her own in the No. 3 spot.
After a fall in the fourth routine, Denver's final two gymnasts hit the team's best routines of the rotation, starting with a career-high 9.875 from Hargraves – an improved of nearly a full tenth over her previous best. Cooley competed as the anchor for the second meet in a row, earning a 9.900 that was just off her personal best.
FLOOR RECAP
With five scores of 9.900 or higher and all six scores earning at least a 9.850, Denver closed out the meet with a 49.600 for its single best rotation on any event this season. Finishing atop the final meet standings were matching scores of 9.950 for Hargraves and Cooley – the junior's becoming a new career high. Her classmate Gallen, too, set a new personal best, doing so with a 9.900 in DU's first routine.
Two more gymnasts added scores of 9.900 in Bhatia and Reidenbach, each just a quarter tenth from their career highs. Rorich competed on floor for the third meet in a row and earned a 9.850 – including a 9.900 from one judge.
