DAVIS, Calif. -- The University of Denver men's golf team is tied for 10th at 8-over after the opening round of the El Macero Classic in Davis, Calif. 

Pacific leads the team race at 4-under, followed by UC Davis in second at 1-over and Cal Baptist rounding out the top three at 3-over. Felix Bouchard (Pacific) is atop the individual leaderboard at 4-under, followed by Francis Catalano (UCSD) at 3-under and Davis McDowell (UCSD) at 2-under.
