Denver Moves Up Four Spots in Round Two

The Pioneers fired a seven-over 295 on Saturday

DAVIS, Calif. – The University of Denver men's golf program picked up four spots on moving day Saturday, carding a seven-over 295 to move up to in a tie for sixth in a 19 team field at the 2026 El Macero Classic.

Jet Hernandez led the Pioneers with an even-par 72 to move into 20th. Tuesday's tournament winner Zander Grant fired a one-over 73 to sit 28th, in a tie with teammate Willis Panzarello, who birdied three of the final five holes to shoot a three-over 75. Jack Dozer is also in 28th after his 75 Saturday.

The tournament will wrap up with the final round on Sunday.
