WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- The University of Denver women's golf team earned an eighth place finish at 51-over at the Boilermaker Spring Classic this week in West Lafayette, Indiana.
Illinois earned their second consecutive team win at the event, finishing 6-over, followed by Purdue at 9-over and Princeton at 27-over. Isabella McCauley (Minnesota) earned the individual title at 4-under, Lauren Timpf (Purdue) finished second at 2-under and Cherry Marley (USF) closed out the top three at 1-under. The top three finishers were the only three golfers to finish the tournament under par.
THE PIONEERS
The Pioneers will compete in their final Summit League tournament, in pursuit of their seveth-straight tournament title on April 26-28 in Phoenix, Arizona.
