DENVER – The University of Denver women's tennis team (13-7, 5-0 Summit) is ranked No. 65 the ITA Computerized Rankings that were released on Tuesday.
Denver finished its final weekend at Denver Tennis Park for the year with a 7-0 sweep of Oral Roberts on Friday, April 10, and a 6-1 win over North Dakota on Saturday, April 11. DU has won its last three matches and six of its last eight as its enters the final week of the regular season.
So far in 2026, Denver has faced six teams that currently appear in the ITA team rankings, highlighted by wins over now-No. 26 Arizona and now-No. 75 Colorado. Four of DU's seven losses this season have come against ranked teams: No. 11 Arizona State, No. 35 Utah, No. 37 BYU and No. 70 Oregon.
This is the eighth time Denver has appeared in the ITA team rankings this season and its sixth in as many weeks.
The ITA Division I Women's Collegiate Tennis Rankings recognize the top 75 teams (out of 313), as well as the top 125 singles players and top 60 doubles teams at the NCAA Division I level. Beginning this week, rankings for teams, singles player and doubles teams will be released on a weekly basis until the start of the NCAA tournament in May.
