DENVER – University of Denver women's tennis players Louise Wikander was named the Kwik Star Summit League Peak Performer of the Week for the 13^th week of the season, the Summit League announced on Tuesday.
 
The Denver senior lost just three total games across her two doubles matches over the weekend, both from the No. 1 singles position against Summit League opponents. To start the weekend, she grabbed a 6-2 6-0 win against Oral Roberts on April 10, and she finished things off with a 6-1 6-0 victory against North Dakota on April 11 in what was her final match at Denver Tennis Park. In both cases, her win was the first for DU in singles and set up Denver for 7-0 and 6-1 wins, respectively.
 
Wikander has earned the Peak Performer of the Week nod in consecutive weeks and for the fifth time this season. In her career, she has now earned weekly Summit League recognition 11 times, seven of which have been as the Peak Performer of the Week. She also owns four Doubles Peak Team of the Week honors, two from this season.
 
In total, seven DU players have now combined for 11 total Summit League honors this year.
