DENVER – The No. 71-ranked University of Denver men's tennis team will play at No. 6-seeded TCU for the first round of the 2026 NCAA Division I Men's Tennis Championship, the NCAA announced on Monday.
DU will be the region's No. 4 seed, drawing the No. 1 regional seed and the No. 6 national seed TCU. The teams' NCAA First Round match is set for Friday, May 1, at 5 p.m. CT/4 p.m. MT.
Additional information about the Fort Worth Regional hosted by TCU will be announced in the coming days.
Denver received an automatic berth into the NCAA tournament by winning the Summit League championship – the program's third in a row and eighth overall in what is DU's final season as a member of the Summit League. DU will become a member of the West Coast Conference on July 1, 2026.
This will be Denver's third consecutive NCAA tournament appearance and its 11
th overall. Last year, DU played at No. 10-seed Arizona in the first round, falling to the host team and eventual round of 16 qualifier, 0-4.
