MESA, Ariz. -- The University of Denver women's golf program earned a runner-up finish at 36-over in its final Summit League Tournament on Tuesday afternoon at Longbow Golf Course in Mesa, Arizona.
The Pioneers moved into second place after carding the lowest final round of the tournament at 4-over. South Dakota State earned its first-ever league title at 30-over and Oral Roberts rounded out the podium at 38-over.
Anna Neumayer shot one-under in the final round to finish in the runner-up spot, a career-best tournament finish for the junior. McKenzie Mages (South Dakota State) earned the individual title and was the lone golfer to finish under par in the tournament at one-under.
