DENVER – The University of Denver women's tennis team (11-7, 3-0 Summit) is ranked No. 63 the ITA Computerized Rankings that were released on Tuesday.
Denver again split results on the weekend, fighting hard but falling at Tulsa, 1-4, on April 3 before rebounding with a 7-0 sweep at Kansas City in the team's resumption of Summit League play on April 4.
So far in 2026, Denver has faced six teams that currently appear in the ITA team rankings, highlighted by wins over now-No. 29 Arizona and now-No. 66 Colorado. Four of DU's seven losses this season have come against ranked teams: No. 11 Arizona State, No. 26 Utah, No. 27 BYU and No. 65 Oregon.
This is the seventh time Denver has appeared in the ITA team rankings this season and its fifth in as many weeks.
The ITA Division I Women's Collegiate Tennis Rankings recognize the top 75 teams (out of 313), as well as the top 125 singles players and top 60 doubles teams at the NCAA Division I level. Beginning this week, rankings for teams, singles player and doubles teams will be released on a weekly basis until the start of the NCAA tournament in May.
The University of Denver women's tennis team returns to Denver Tennis Park for what will be the team's final home matches of the season, hosting Oral Roberts and North Dakota on April 10-11, respectively.
