SANTA BARBARA, Calif. –University of Denver junior men's golfer Zander Grant fired a one-under 71 to win the 2026 UCSB Gauch Invite on Tuesday at the 2026 UCSB Gaucho Invitational at Sandpiper Golf Club.

The individual win for Grant was Denver's first outright individual medalist honor since Carson Griggs won the 2022 Tucker Invitational. Willis Panzarello finished in a 3-way tie for first in the 2025 Summit League Men's Golf Championship.

Grant led the Pioneers to a second place finish as a team, the Pioneers best finish since taking second in the Santa Barbara Collegiate at this time last season. The Pioneers last team win came in the 2022 Summit League Championship, which Denver will compete in for the final time in the first full week of May.
