DENVER – The University of Denver women's lacrosse program has signed Albany transfer defender Delilah Mile to its 2027 roster, head coach Liza Kelly announced on Friday.
 
Mile made starts in four different campaigns at Albany, including in each of her last 35 appearances in the 2025 and 2026 campaigns in New York. While with the Great Danes, Mile picked up 72 ground balls and forced 59 turnovers, while pulling in four draw controls.
 
Last season, Mile forced a career-high 22 CTs and picked up 23 ground balls, her second most in a season in her career. Mile had seven games with multiple turnovers, including four in both games against Vermont.

HONORS AND AWARDS:
America East Second Team All-Conference pick (2025, 2026)…America East Defensive Player of the Week (3/23/26).
 
2026 (Senior at Albany):
Started all 15 games, ranking sixth in the America East with 1.44 caused turnovers per game…Recorded 22 ground balls and 21 caused turnovers…Picked up a season-high five ground balls against UMass Lowell…Forced a season-high four caused turnovers in both the regular season and America East Championship game meetings with Vermont.
 
2025 (Junior at Albany):
Started all 19 games…Picked up 22 ground balls and forced 20 turnovers…Recorded her first collegiate goal in a win over Binghamton.
 
2024 (Sophomore at Albany):
Appeared and started in five games before missing the rest of the season due to injury…Forced two of her three turnovers at Boston College.
 
2023 (Freshman at Albany):
Appeared in all 20 games, making seven started for the Albany defense…Picked up 25 ground balls and forced 14 turnovers…Earned three ground balls in the America East Championship game against Binghamton.
 
BEFORE ALBANY:
2021 All-Division Honor in high school.
