Freshman Louw Leads Pioneers to Fourth-Place Finish

NORMAL, Ill. – The University of Denver women's golf team finished fourth at 28-over at the Redbird Invitational on Monday at Weibring Golf Club.
St. Thomas won the team title at 13-over, followed by Augusta at 15-over and Illinois State at 23-over. Denver finished at 28-over after rounds of 6-over, 14-over and 8-over.
Freshman Kesha Louw led the Pioneers, finishing tied for ninth at 6-over. Kathryn VanArragon (St. Thomas) claimed the individual title at 3-under.

Louw carded rounds of 72, 75 and 75 to finish at 6-over, while Capizzi finished at 8-over after rounds of 74, 77 and 73. Hale posted rounds of 78, 74 and 73 to finish at 9-over.
