Hale Leads Pioneers in Opening Round at Red Sky Classic

WOLCOTT, Colo. – The University of Denver women's golf team sits in sixth place at 5-under after the opening round of the Golfweek Red Sky Classic on Monday at Red Sky Golf Club.
Southern California leads the 20-team field at 22-under, followed by Miami at 11-under and Texas A&M at 10-under. Denver carded a 5-under 283 in the opening round.
Logan Hale led the Pioneers with a 3-under 69, tying for ninth individually. Kesha Louw followed with a 2-under 70 to tie for 17th, while Raegan Capizzi carded a 1-under 71 to tie for 25th. Victoria Richani shot a 1-over 73 to tie for 50th, and Kaitlin Zingler finished with a 3-over 75 to tie for 71st.

T71 Kaitlin Zingler (+3)
Competing as an individual, Maren Farbu carded a 6-over 78 and is tied for 95th.
The Pioneers will continue the Golfweek Red Sky Classic with the second round Tuesday.
