Pioneers Fall to Utah in Three Sets

GREELEY, Colo. – The University of Denver volleyball team dropped a three-set decision to Utah on Friday at Bank of Colorado Arena, falling 25-11, 25-16, 25-21. The Pioneers move to 7-5 on the season.
LEADERS
Alicia Thibodeau led Denver with six kills, while Kayla Patel added five and Jamia Johnson finished with four. Ilayda Eren recorded 11 assists, while Madison Winkler added eight digs.
UP NEXT
The Pioneers return to Hamilton Gymnasium on Thursday, Sept. 24, opening West Coast Conference play against Pacific at 6 p.m. MT.
