Pioneers Post Strong Final Round in Deep Red Sky Field

WOLCOTT, Colo. – The University of Denver women's golf team finished 10th at 4-under at the Golfweek Red Sky Classic on Wednesday at Red Sky Golf Club.
The Pioneers closed the tournament in a strong 20-team field with a 9-under 279 in the final round, bringing their three-round total to 4-under 860. Denver had five golfers finish the final round under par.Â
Logan Hale led the Pioneers, tying for 23rd at 5-under after firing a 4-under 68 in the final round. Kesha Louw tied for 31st at 3-under after carding a 3-under 69, while Victoria Richani tied for 54th at 2-over after shooting a 1-under 71. Kaitlin Zingler also finished under par in the final round with a 1-under 71.Â
Competing as an individual, Maren Farbu closed with her second straight 3-under 69 to finish tied for 47th at even-par, moving up nine spots from her position after the second round.Â
