Women’s Golf Welcomes 15-Team Field for Ron Moore Intercollegiate

DENVER – The University of Denver women's golf team returns home to host the Ron Moore Intercollegiate, Oct. 2-4, at the University of Denver Golf Club at Highlands Ranch.
The Pioneers will compete in a 15-team field featuring UNLV, Oregon State, Long Beach State, Hawaii, Notre Dame, UTSA, Texas State, Boise State, Tulane, Colorado State, Northern Colorado, Wyoming, Xavier and Colorado.
Team play will begin between 8:30 and 11 a.m. Friday and Saturday, with the final round beginning with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start Sunday.
Denver's team will tee off No. 1 between 9:30 and 10:10 a.m. Friday, while the Pioneers' individuals will tee off at 9:20 a.m. from No. 1 and 9:40 and 10:40 a.m. from No. 10.
THE PIONEERS:
Competing individually for Denver will be Raegan Capizzi, Brooke McGlasson and Holly Hamilton.
THE RON MOORE LEGACY
Ron Moore was a University of Denver golfer, Hall of Fame member and longtime champion of Pioneer golf. A member of two Skyline Conference championship teams and a three-time NCAA Tournament competitor, Moore's impact extended well beyond the course.
As a longtime DU Board of Trustees member and generous supporter, Moore played a pivotal role in helping reinstate Denver's golf program and build its foundation for success.
The Ron Moore Intercollegiate honors his lasting legacy and commitment to Pioneer golf.
