2021:

• Won first career all-around title on February 21
• Scored 39.400 in the all-around on February 7, placing second

2020:

• Competed in 37 total routines including in the all-around eight times

2019:

• Competed in 57 total routines and contributed 100 percent of her bars and floor scores to the team total

• Finished second in the all-around and on floor, and third on beam at 2016 Region 8 Championships

Personal:

• Daughter of Carlos and Melanie Ruiz
• Has three brothers: Jonathan (24), Matthew (20) and Juan Pablo (18)
• Chose DU because of its dedication to both gymnastics and academics, and the beautiful campus; also said that from the moment she arrived, DU felt like home.
• Graduated with a bachelor's degree in biological sciences in June 2022
• Currently a graduate student pursuing a certificate in healthcare management and regulatory leadership (with plans to attend medical school)
