2021:

Personal:
- Daughter of Carlos and Melanie Ruiz
- Has three brothers: Jonathan (24), Matthew (20) and Juan Pablo (18)
- Chose DU because of its dedication to both gymnastics and academics, and the beautiful campus; also said that from the moment she arrived, DU felt like home.
- Graduated with a bachelor's degree in biological sciences in June 2022
- Currently a graduate student pursuing a certificate in healthcare management and regulatory leadership (with plans to attend medical school)
