University of Denver Sports Performance Internship 
Internship Dates:  
Fall: Sept. 1st – Dec. 1st  
Winter/Spring: Jan. 3rd – June 1st 
Summer: June 1st – Sept. 1st 

Internship Description:  
The University of Denver Sports Performance Internship is centered around providing hands on experience to students/post grads who have a deep interest in pursuing a career in the Sports Performance field. Experience includes on the floor active coaching of all 18 Division 1 NCAA sports, weekly continuing education sessions and practical assignments, and exposure to technology including GymAware, VALD Force Plates, & Catapult.  

Continuing Education Curriculum:  
All interns are required to complete a highly structured curriculum that will consist of weekly lectures and practical assignments. The topics covered will prepare interns for their final project, which consists of an hour-long mock interview for a Sports Performance coach position in a sport of their choosing.

Application Requirements: 
All applicants should be committed to pursuing a future career in Sports Performance with excellent communication skills and professionalism. It is preferred that applicants are currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in exercise science or a related field.
