Position: Two Certified Athletic Training Internships

Bachelor's degree, NATABOC certified or eligible, CPR and First Aid certified, State of Colorado Registered
Job Description:
The University of Denver is offering two 9-month internships starting in August. Division I sport coverage may include: (1) Women's Soccer and Women's Lacrosse (2) Volleyball, Men's and Women's Swimming and Men's and Women's Tennis with opportunities to assist with Men's Ice Hockey as well. Responsibilities will consist of care and prevention, rehabilitation, treatment, practice and competition coverage, and travel. In addition, assisting staff athletic trainers in administrative duties consisting of medical documentation, completing insurance information, scheduling medical appointments, diagnostic procedures, and supervising students. Benefits include monthly stipend, cell phone stipend, NATA dues, state registration fees, local meetings and CEUs. Opportunity to earn extra money working clinics and summer camps. This is an internship, not a graduate assistant position.
