 Earned his fourth All-American award in as many seasons and his fourth RMISA MVP accolade, earning the honor in the men’s Nordic freestyle … Was the top qualifier from RMISA in men’s Nordic for the NCAA Championships … Finished in the top 10 in 13-of-14 races during his senior season, placing in the top-five nine times and winning five events … Recorded top-10 finishes in each of his first 12 races … Began the season by winning both the 10K freestyle and 20K classic at the Alaska Anchorage Invitational on Jan. 2-5, with the meet taking place in conjunction with the U.S. Cross Country National Championships … Won a U.S. National Championship for the third year in a row, taking the title in men’s classic sprints and 20K classic mass start … Came in fifth in the 7.5K classic at the Utah Invitational on Jan. 18 before earning his third collegiate win in a span of four races on Jan. 18 at the meet’s 15K freestyle race … Won the 7.5K classic at the Montana State Invite on Jan. 6 after coming in 10th in the 20K freestyle mass start the previous day on Jan. 5 … Was sixth in the 7.5K classic interval start and seventh in the 10K freestyle pursuit on Feb. 8-9 at the Denver Invitational at Maloit Park in Minturn … Recorded his final individual victory in classic sprints at the Alaska Fairbanks Invitational on Feb. 16 and was runner-up in the UAF meet’s 10K freestyle on Feb. 17, helping the Pioneers win the meet … Placed second in the 7.5K classic and fourth in the 20K freestyle on Feb. 21-22 at the RMISA Championships in Anchorage, Alaska … Was 22nd in the 7.5K classic at the NCAA Championships on March 6 in Hanover, New Hampshire, before earning second-team All-American honors in his final race with a seventh-place result in the 20K freestyle mass start on March 8 … Finished his collegiate career with 17 individual victories, the second-most all-time in DU history and tied for the most-ever by a men’s Nordic skier (Pietro Broggini) … Finished all 51 races during his collegiate career, earning 45 top-10s, 26 top-fives and placing on the podium 27 times.

2024 (Junior): Picked up six wins, earned eight podiums and placed in the top 10 in each of the first 12 races of the season … Won four consecutive events from Feb. 2-10, sweeping the regular-season races in Colorado from Feb. 2-10 … It was the most consecutive wins by a RMISA men’s Nordic skier since Colorado’s Magnus Boee also won four in a row to finish the 2021 campaign (also won five straight earlier that year) … Was victorious in the CU Invitational’s 7.5K freestyle and 20K classic on Feb. 2-3 and the Denver Invite’s 10K classic and 5K freestyle on Feb. 9-10 … Repeated as the winner in the classical discipline at DU’s meet in Maloit Park in Minturn, Colo. … Began the season by winning a U.S. National Championship for the second straight season, leading the entire field in the 10K classic on Jan. 2 in an event that also doubled as the Westminster Invitational … Was fifth in the Westminster Invite’s freestyle sprints on Jan. 4 and seventh in classic sprints as part of a RMISA Qualifier race on Jan. 7 at U.S. Nationals … Recorded a pair of podiums at the Utah Invitational, finishing runner-up in the 7.5K freestyle on Jan. 12 and third in the 10K classic pursuit on Jan. 13 … Came in eighth in the 7.5K freestyle at the RMISA Championships on Feb. 24 in Bozeman, Mont., before winning the 20K classic at the conference meet on Feb. 25, his third consecutive RMISA West Regional Championship in the classical discipline … Earned second-team All-American accolades by placing 10th in the 7.5K freestyle at the NCAA Championships on March 7 in Steamboat Springs, Colo. … Placed 18th in the 20K classic on March 9 at the national championships.

2023 (Sophomore): Finished in the top 10 in 11-of-12 races during the year, reaching the podium in seven races and picking up four victories … Three of his victories came in classical, but was consistent in both disciplines, as five of his nine top-five finishes and three podiums were in Nordic freestyle … Earned his first career freestyle win and claimed the U.S. Cross Country National Championship in Houghton, Michigan, on Jan. 2 at a meet that served as a RMISA Nordic Qualifier … Came in 10th in classic sprints in another Nordic Qualifier in Houghton on Jan. 4 … Did not race at the Montana State Invitational on Jan. 13-14 while representing his home country of Norway at the FISU World University Games in Lake Placid, New York … Won the 20K classic on Feb. 4 and came in sixth in the 10K freestyle on Feb. 4 at the Colorado Invite … Picked up a pair of podiums at the Denver Invitational on Feb. 10-11 and was named the Skier of the Meet in men’s Nordic by placing third in the 5K freestyle and winning the 10K classic … Posted a pair of second-place results in freestyle sprints and 10K classic at the Alaska Anchorage Invite on Feb. 20-21 … Was fourth in the 10K freestyle on Feb. 24 before defending his title in the classic by winning the 20K distance on Feb. 25 at the RMISA Championships in Alaska … Was fourth behind DU teammate Bernhard Flaschberger on March 9 in the 10K freestyle at the NCAA Championships, earning a First-Team All-America award … Suffered an injury during the 20K classic and finished 16th overall on March 11 in Lake Placid, New York, to conclude the national championships.

2022 (Freshman): Finished in the top 15 in all 12 races in 2022, placed in the top five in eight of them and picked up two wins … Was the 2022 NCAA West Regional champion in classic after winning the 10K race at the RMISA Championships on Feb. 25 in Steamboat Springs, Colo. … Placed fifth in the 20K freestyle at the RMISA Championships on Feb. 26 … Made the Pioneers’ NCAA Championship squad for men’s Nordic, alongside older brother, senior Ole Marius Kirkeng … Finished second in the 10K classic at the national championships at Soldier Hollow, Utah, on March 10 and came in 11th in the 20K freestyle on March 12 … Made his collegiate debut by placing fourth in freestyle sprints at the Utah Invitational/U.S. National Championships on Jan. 2 … Came in sixth in the 15K classical on Jan. 6 at the Utah Invite/U.S. Nationals before earning his second top-five of the week in classic sprints on Jan. 7 at a RMISA Nordic Qualifier race as part of the American championship … After placing 13th in the 10K freestyle at the Montana State Invitational in Sun Valley, Idaho, on Jan. 15, earned his first career podium in third place in the 15K classic at the MSU meet on Jan. 16 … The performance in Sun Valley was the start of three straight podiums, as he picked up his first career victory the following race in the 5K classic at the UAF Nanook Invitational on Feb. 1 and a second-place result in the 10K freestyle at the same meet on Feb. 2 … Named the RMISA Skier of the Meet for men’s Nordic at the UAF Invite … Wrapped up the RMISA regular season in 15th in the 10K freestyle at the RMISA Invitational in Fairbanks, Alaska, on Feb. 5 … Named the RMISA Most Valuable Skier in men's Nordic Classic during the regular season … Member of the 2022 National Collegiate All-Academic Ski Team … Named DU Skiing’s 2022 Nordic MVP.
