2025 (Sophomore): Began the season with 10th-place finishes in both slalom at the RMISA Alpine Qualifier on Jan. 6 at Loveland Ski Area and giant slalom at the Denver Invitational on Jan. 8 at Copper Mountain … Did not finish run 2 in slalom at the DU Invite on Jan. 7 at Loveland … Came in 22nd in GS at the Montana State Invitational on Feb. 3 before not starting run 2 in slalom on Feb. 4 in Bozeman … Placed 17th in the RMISA Alpine Qualifier giant slalom event on Feb. 8 and 18th in the Utah Invitational GS on Feb. 9 before coming in 11th in slalom on Feb. 10 to wrap up the meet at Utah Olympic Park in Park City … Also came in 11th in giant slalom at the Alaska Anchorage Invitational’s giant slalom on Feb. 19 … Placed 21st in GS at the RMISA Championships on Feb. 20 … Finished his season with an 18th-place result in slalom at the UAA Invite on Feb. 21 before coming in 11th in the discipline on Feb. 22 at the RMISA Championships in Girdwood, Alaska … Recorded top-20 results in six of his final seven races of the year.
2024 (Freshman): Posted eight top-10 finishes, six results in the top five and was twice on the podium in his first collegiate season … Finished 12-of-14 races, placing in the top 15 in 10 of them … Earned top-10 finishes in each of the five slalom events he completed, with four being in the top five … Finished the year with top-10 placements in seven of the final eight races (all seven he finished) and was in the top five in three of the last four … After recording a then season-best result in giant slalom in ninth at the RMISA Alpine Qualifier on Feb. 22 in Big Sky, Mont., bettered the performance with his first career podium in second place at the RMISA Championships’ GS on the same slope on Feb. 23 and was just 12-hundredths of a second off the lead … Had the fastest first run in slalom at the RMISA Championships on Feb. 24 but did not finish his second descent … Led the Pioneers in both men’s alpine events at the NCAA Championships in Steamboat Springs, Colo., placing third in giant slalom on March 6 and fourth in the night slalom on March 8 … Did not finish his second run in the season-opening slalom at the Westminster Invitational on Jan. 17 … Picked up his first top five in fourth place on Jan. 18 at the Utah Invite, posting the fastest second run and was just one-hundredths of a second off the podium … Was 18th in the Westminster Invite’s GS and 21st in the same discipline in the Utah Invitational on Jan. 19-20 … Had his then-best giant slalom performance of the year in 14th in the RMISA Alpine Qualifier on Feb. 2 and was 15th in the Colorado Invitational’s GS on Feb. 2 … Began a streak of five consecutive top-1- results by placing fifth in the CU Invite’s slalom on Feb. 3 … Placed seventh in the first slalom race at the Denver Invitational and was fourth in the second event on Feb. 5-6 at Loveland Ski Area … Recorded five additional top-five results later in the season in non-collegiate events, with fourth and sixth-place results in slalom at the Nor-Am Cup Finals in Panorama, British Columbia, on April 10-11.
Before Denver: Skied for the Kjelsaas IL club … Had one top-10 and three top-15 finishes in slalom on the Europa Cup circuit in 2022 and 2023 … Career-best finish in Europe Cup is ninth in slalom at Berchtesgaden, Germany, on Jan. 8, 2022 … Placed sixth in alpine combined, 10th in giant slalom and 12th in super-G at the 2022 FIS World Junior Championships … Was first in slalom and second in giant slalom in 2022 Norwegian National Championships and was fourth in 2023 Italian National Championship … Was third in the giant slalom at Norway’s National Junior Championships in 2018, earning high school honors as well.
