Biography

2018:
One of 12 Pioneers to compete in the NCAA Championships in Steamboat Springs...Earned first-team All-American honors at the NCAA Championships with a third place finish in the classical and fourth in the freestyle...Never finished outside of the top-10 all season...Earned first in the classicals at the RMISA Championships and at the Utah Invitational, as well as in the freestyle at the U.S. Cross Country Championships...Skied for second in the freestyles at Montana State and Utah. Also took second in the freestyle sprint at the Cross Country Championships and in the classicals at Montana State and New Mexico...Took fourth and fifth in the classical and freestyle respectively at the Denver Invitational...Placed seventh in the freestyle in New Mexico and 10th at the RMISA Championships.

2017:
NCAA All-Academic...Earned one first-team All-American honors at the NCAA Championships with a third place finish in the Classic and a second-team All-American honors for a seventh place finish in the Freestyle race...One of 12 skiers to compete at the 2017 NCAA Championships in New Hampshire...Had a dominant season, finishing in the top-5 in all races he started during the 2017 season...Was named to the RMISA first All-Conference team...Won at the Alaska Invitational the 10k Classic and at the Seawolf Invitational the Freestyle sprint...Additionally made the podium at the Alaska Invitational, coming in 2nd in the 20k Freestyle race...Helped Denver 1 in the Mixed 4*5k relay to race to 3rd place...Finished fifth in the 10k Freestyle and ninth in the 20k Classic race at the Montana State Invitational.

2016:
One of 12 DU skiers to compete at the 2016 NCAA Championships in Steamboat Springs...Earned All-American honors at the NCAA Championships; 10th overall in the men's classical race and 17th overall in the men's freestyle race...Helped Denver win their 23rd National Championship...Finished 11th overall in the classical race and fifth overall in the freestyle race at the Utah Invitational...Seventh and 15th place finishes in the classical/freestyle races at the New Mexico Invitational.

2015:
Competed as a freshman at the NCAA Championships in the 10K freestyle and 20K classical, posting 39th and 30th place results respectively...Took third place in 10K freestyle and fifth place in 20K men's classical at RMISA Championships...12th place finishes in both the 10K freestyle and 7.5K classical at Seawolf Invitational...Finished 15th in 10K classical at New Mexico Invitational...Began collegiate career with a 13th place finish in the 20K classical and 20th place showing in the 10K freestyle at the CU Invitational.

Competed at Wang Toppidrett High School in Norway...Graduated from high school in 2012.

Born June 14, 1993 in Oslo, Norway...Son of Frode and Elisabeth Trolleboe...Has three older siblings, Jan Gunnar, Anne Kristine and Inger Helene...Chose to attend the University of Denver for their academic excellence and strong skiing tradition..Goals include having academic success and becoming a world cup skier...Enjoys cycling, soccer, alpine skiing and hanging out with friends.
