Honors and Awards:
Summit League Defensive Player of the Year (2017 and 2018)...2018 All-West Region First Team...Summit League Tournament MVP (2018)...Summit League First Team (2017 and 2018)...Summit League Defensive Player of the Week (10/23/17, 9/10/18)...Top Drawer Soccer National Team of the Week (10/9/18)...2016 Summit League Second Team…2016 Summit League All-Tournament Team…2015 All-Summit League Second Team...2015 All-Summit League Newcomer Team...2015 Most Improved Player...2017 All-Western Conference Team and 2017 PDL All-League Team in his time with the Colorado Rapids' U-23s. 

Career:
Played and started in 83 matches in his four-year career, scoring six goals and adding an assist…83 appearances tied for the most with Andre Shinyashiki and Sam Hamilton in Denver’s Division I history…83 starts in the most in Denver’s Division I history…Netted two game-winning goals…Led one of the top defenses in Division I soccer in his four year career, making all 83 starts at centerback…Part of a senior class that finished 61-12-10, recording the fifth-most wins in the country over the four-year span, while recording the second-highest points-won rate in the country at 77.5%....Won seven Summit League trophies in his career, helping the program to its first College Cup appearance in 2016, and turning in the top grade point average in the country each of the last three years.
 
2018:
Played in the offseason for the Colorado Rapids' U-23s…Played and started all 21 matches for the Crimson and Gold, captaining Denver’s defense in 1936 minutes of action….Scored a goal in Denver’s 4-0 win over North Florida… Part of a Denver defense that finished 19th in the country in goals against average (.725) and 12th in shutout percentage (.524)…Also part of a defense that allowed two shots on goal or less in nine matches.

2017:
Started all 19 matches at center back...Scored the opener in the Summit League Final (11/11), his only two points of the season… Played on a Denver back-four that allowed just 54 shots on goal for an average of 2.84/per game…Denver’s defense combined for a 0.76 goals against average...Played in the offseason for the Colorado Rapids' U-23s

2016:
Played and started in all 24 matches, seeing action in 2,269 minutes in the campaign…Netted two goals and provided an assist…Scored goals against UC Riverside (9/9) and the game-winner in Denver’s NCAA Second Round match against UNLV (11/20)… Part of a Denver back line that finished third in the country in goals against average (0.52) and third in shutout percentage (0.58), did not allow a shot against Saint Louis (9/15) and did not allow a shot on goal in five matches. 

2015:
Started all 19 matches… Played 1,725 minutes for fourth most on the team… Scored two goals including a game winner against Western Illinois (11/12) and a 47th minute equalizer against Santa Barbara (9/14)...Played center back in a Denver back four that allowed a 0.40 goals against-average, kept a 0.63 shutout percentage (12 clean sheets), and allowed just 2.5 shots on goal per game. 

2014:
Did not see game action.

Before Denver:
Played two seasons as a center back for the Real Colorado Development Academy, after three seasons with Real Colorado National Team...Named captain for his final season with Real Colorado National and was named captain for the U16 Academy Team. 

Personal:
Born February 26, 1996 in Prairie Village, Kan...Son of Jeff and Chris DeVoss...Has two siblings, Nick and Molly...Intends to study business...Chose Denver because of comfort level with coaching staff, the facilities, and the size and location of the school...Hopes to one day play professional soccer, and then work on starting a career in business...Also recruited by Washington, Appalachian State and Seattle.
