2022: Placed in the top 10 in three races and in the top 20 in all six competitions in 2022-23 … Made her Denver debut at the Southern Hills Triathlon on Sept. 3 in Hot Springs, S.D., and earned her second career collegiate podium by placing second in 59:56.8 (5:01.1/32:24.4/21:43.6) and helping the Pioneers win the team event … Led Denver with a sixth-place finish in 1:02:44 at the Oktoberfest Sprint on Sept. 24 in Longmont, Colo., and posted her fastest swim of her career (9:37/31:43/19:50) … Had the 15th-fastest individual time at 6:23 and helped Denver’s A Team to fourth place at the inaugural Mile High Relays on the DU campus on Sept. 25 … Came in 13th in 1:03:42 (10:05/32:41/19:10) and had her fastest 5K run of her career (19:10) at the Western Regional National Qualifier in Stockton, Mo., on Oct. 14 … Did not race at the Cal Bearathlon on Oct. 30 while competing with Team Canada at the Pan American Junior Championship in Montevideo, Uruguay, on Oct. 29—placed eighth in 1:08:40 (16:17/31:59/19:31) … Came in 17th in 1:07:03 (10:41/34:50/20:08) at the Collegiate National Championships in Tempe, Ariz., on Nov. 12, earning an All-American Honorable Mention … In spring 2023, took part in one race at the Clermont Challenge in Clermont, Fla., finishing fourth in 1:03:01 (11:00/30:42/19:30) and posting her fastest 20K-bike time (30:42) in the National Development Race on March 4.
2021 (Wagner College): Won the Smith Mountain Lake Eastern National Qualifier at Huddleston, Va., on Oct. 16 (1:02:21) … Placed 12th at the St. George Western National Qualifier on Oct. 30 in Hurricane, Utah (1:09:32) … Wrapped up the regular season by finishing 21st at the Collegiate National Championships on Nov. 13 in Tempe, Arizona (1:08:48.1) … In the spring, finished third in the NCAA D-I collegiate super sprint race (sixth overall) at the Clermont Challenge on March 6 in Clermont, Fla. (33:04) … Was also on Wagner’s track and field team.
International: Represented Canada at the World Triathlon Junior Championship sprint (race changed to duathlon due to water safety) on June 24, 2022, near her hometown in Montreal and finished 24th overall (1:01:05).
Other: Was sixth at the Americas Triathlon Championships in St. George, Utah, on Oct. 31, 2021 … Placed seventh at the Americas Triathlon Cup at Vina del Mar, Chile, on Feb. 13, 2022.
Personal: Has two younger sisters and was a teammate of Beatrice at DU in 2024-25 … Favorite training spot is Cuenca, Ecuador … Intends to major in international affairs at DU and would like to be a foreign correspondent journalist someday … Went to high school at College Bourget in Rigaud, Quebec, where she earned the Merit Award in all subjects from 2017-2019 and was named the school's Athlete of the Year from 2017-2020 … Also participated in the triathlon club and environmental club at College Bourget … Likes all kinds of music, especially independent, rock and music from her native Quebec … Favorite quote is "Juste une vie à vivre," which translates to "just one life to live" … Favorite movies are Forrest Gump and Into The Wild … Favorite sport to watch is hockey … Other hobbies include traveling, thrifting and outdoor activities … Entered DU with bests of a 17:55 5-kilometer run and a time of 4:50 in the 400-meter swim.
Why DU: “I was firstly introduced to the University of Denver because of the triathlon team, but the academic opportunities in international relations and the beautiful location are what convinced me to go. I fell in love with the mountains, cafes and the scenery when I visited."
Why Triathlon: "Triathlon never gets boring because of the variety of training that is required. It allows me to live different experiences, meet new people, see new places and to grow as a person."
