Â
Why Triathlon:
“I used to play basketball when I was a kid and I actually really liked running, but when I started full-time swimming when I was 16 I gave all of that up. I've spent the last five years being a competitive D-I swimmer, and I had always wanted to start getting into triathlons after swimming. When I stopped swimming and started running more, coach Barbara Perkins asked if I would be interested and I jumped at the chance.”
