Before Denver: Raced the Clermont Challenge Super Sprint in March, Texas Draft-Legal Triathlon Festival in April, East Coast Triathlon Festival in May and Pleasant Prairie Youth and Junior Development Cup in June as part of her spring 2025 races … Competed in the Maple Grove Sprint Triathlon in August 2024 (1:22:11) and the Timberman Sprint Triathlon in July 2023 … Member of the Aquajets Swim Club in addition to her high school program … Finished sixth in the state of Minnesota in the 100-meter breaststroke in 2024 … Was ninth in the state in the 200-meter individual medley and 200-meter breaststroke in 2023 … Earned qualifying times for the National Club Swimming Association in the 100-meter breaststroke, 200-meter breaststroke and 200-meter individual medley … A captain on the swim team during year senior year and finished as a four-time letterwinner (2021-2024) … Named to the South Suburban All-Conference Team three times (2022, 2023, 2024) and twice awarded Minnesota All-State honors (2023, 2024) … Recognized with her high school’s swimming program’s Most Dedicated Award in 2023 and the Coaches Award in 2021 and 2024 … Helped her high school swim team to a section championship in 2024, the program’s first such title in 37 years … Swim team also placed third at the 2024 state championships … Twice named a letter recipient in mountain biking in middle school (2019, 2020) … Personal Records: 100-meter freestyle swim, 1:04.7; 100-yard freestyle, 54:58; 200-meter freestyle, 2:18.12; 200-yard freestyle, 2:00.99; 500-yard freestyle, 5:15.84.
Personal: Intends to major in physiology in health and disease at DU … Wants to compete in triathlons at a high level and pursue a career of becoming an orthopedic surgeon with a specialty in sports medicine … Graduated from Shakopee High School in 2025 … Four-year Honor Roll recipient and was recognized with the Health Science Academy Award in high school … Member of National Honor Society and a Student Council leader at SHS … Was a leader at Youth Frontiers Day Camp and was also a new student advisor, academy ambassador of the Health Science Academy and an ambassador of the CAPS program at her high school … Volunteered at local food agency in her hometown … Hobbies include swimming, biking, downhill skiing and water skiing … Previously competed in gymnastics, played soccer and was on a mountain bike team as a kid.

Why Triathlon: “I chose to continue my athletic career in triathlon after swimming since I was 6 years odl due to the opportunity in the sport and my passion for training in multiple disciplines.”
