Has two siblings, Maggie and Zoey … Chose Denver because of the Pio family atmosphere, stellar academics and the opportunity to play the highest level of lacrosse under an incredible coaching staff … Hopes to expand opportunities for female athletes at the youth and high school levels … Also enjoys coaching youth lacrosse, hiking, field hockey, traveling and yoga … Father Greg played golf at Arizona State and then transferred to play lacrosse and golf at the University of Northern Colorado.
